Presidio partnered with Native Pet to improve its Shopify experience around subscription growth, product education, and high-volume direct-to-consumer performance. As a digitally native pet supplement brand, Native Pet needed ecommerce infrastructure that could support rapid marketing iteration, repeat purchase behavior, and science-backed product storytelling while maintaining strong storefront speed and stability.

A Subscription-Led Pet Wellness Experience Built for Clarity

Native Pet operates in the fast-growing pet wellness category, offering supplements and functional products designed to support long-term pet health. Because many of its products are replenishment-driven, subscription performance and lifecycle clarity play an important role in long-term revenue growth. That places greater pressure on the Shopify storefront to balance educational depth with conversion efficiency. Ingredient transparency, benefit-led messaging, and usage guidance all need to be clear, while mobile usability and the subscription experience must remain intuitive and frictionless across the customer journey.

The Challenge: Supporting Education, Subscription Clarity & Scale

As Native Pet scaled paid acquisition and expanded its product range, several structural challenges began to emerge across the Shopify experience. Product detail pages needed clearer benefit hierarchy and stronger above-the-fold clarity to better support high-intent traffic and product page optimization. Subscription options also required clearer value communication and a smoother selection flow. Bundle logic and cross-sell sequencing needed refinement to help increase average order value without overwhelming the customer experience. At the same time, rising traffic volumes placed greater pressure on storefront stability, mobile load efficiency, and Shopify speed optimization. Native Pet needed infrastructure that could support science-backed product education while continuing to operate as a disciplined DTC revenue engine.

Our Shopify Optimization Strategy for Subscription Growth, Product Clarity & Performance

Presidio implemented a focused Shopify optimization strategy across subscription clarity, merchandising, and performance. Product pages were refined to highlight key benefits, ingredient transparency, and usage guidance while improving above-the-fold decision-making. Subscription modules were reworked to increase visibility, clarify savings, and reduce friction between one-time and recurring purchases. Bundle and cross-sell logic were also optimized to support higher average order value. Performance improvements included image optimization, script cleanup, and mobile UX refinements to maintain stability as traffic increased. Modular theme controls were introduced to give internal teams flexibility over promotions, content, and product launches without developer dependency.
