Clean Beauty DTC Optimization & Performance Growth Overview
Acure is a rapidly growing clean skincare and haircare brand with strong national retail distribution and an expanding direct-to-consumer presence on Shopify. As marketing investment increased and product categories expanded, the ecommerce experience needed to evolve to better support acquisition, ingredient education, and repeat purchasing at scale. Rather than pursuing a full redesign, the focus centered on disciplined Shopify conversion rate optimization, mobile usability improvements, and performance infrastructure refinement.
The Challenge: Why Conversion Optimization Was Needed
As traffic scaled, the storefront was not fully optimized to maximize revenue from existing demand. Product detail pages were information-rich but lacked above-the-fold conversion clarity. Mobile navigation limited merchandising visibility, and retention infrastructure within the account experience did not fully support reorder behavior or lifecycle growth. Campaign execution required development resources, slowing agility, while ingredient transparency needed stronger hierarchy to reinforce trust in a competitive clean beauty landscape.
Our Shopify Conversion Optimization Strategy
Presidio implemented a phased Shopify CRO roadmap focused on speed, clarity, and mobile revenue capture. We restructured PDP frameworks to improve above-the-fold impact and strengthened ingredient education through ClearForMe integration to reinforce clean beauty credibility. Mobile navigation and cart flows were refined to increase merchandising visibility and reduce drop-off. We enhanced account functionality to support reorder behavior and lifecycle engagement, streamlined subscription and promotional logic, and implemented modular page architecture to reduce development dependency and improve campaign deployment velocity.
